I use the WPA2 encryption on my WiFi and now there is this article , in a security site about how this russian company elcomsoft is using standard NVIDIA GPU hardware to increase the cracking ability of WPA cracking software from years to weeks or months … man what are we to do …?

  1. Just hope that these guys don’t release open code and let every roaming WiFi hijacker have powerful GPUs on their laptops or mobile phones.

With computing power continuing to increase one way or the other, any encryption algorithm being as strong as its weakest link, we can be assured that ultimate security is a progressive and continuous pursuit that will never be achieved.

The papers on quantum communication and the physical security of those lines also have weakest links which are where the (authorized) listeners tap the information.
